The Senators featured a 31-year-old Dominican pitcher named Chi-Chi Olivo, a longtime fixture of the Caribbean winter leagues. Olivo's 79 career wins in the Dominican League rank him second all time, behind only his brother, Diomedes, who had 86 career wins.
