History: The Seals were one of the top franchises in the old independent Coast League, and signed a young Joe DiMaggio in 1933. This jersey was worn by the great Lefty O'Doul (#26). Pacific Exhibition patch is on the left sleeve.
History: San Francisco joined the Pacific Coast League in 1903 and from that time until their departure in 1957 they were one of the league's most colorful franchises. The 1931 season saw the opening of magnificent Seals Stadium where the club remained until the end. Joe Dimaggio began his career with the Seals and had a 61-game hitting streak in 1933. The most beloved Seal was Lefty O'Doul who both played for and managed the club.

History: San Francisco joined the Pacific Coast League in 1903 and from that time until their departure in 1957 they were one of the league's premier franchises. The ‘38 Seals featured 21-year-old outfielder Dom DiMaggio, the younger brother of Joe DiMaggio who himself played for the Seals several years earlier, as well as player-manager Lefty O'Doul, one of the most popular players in the history of baseball in San Francisco.
